We have always been fully committed to quality assurance. Unlike most accounting firms, we maintain an autonomous department which reviews all financial statements and reports prior to issuance. CG&S is a long-standing member of both the SEC practice section and the Private Companies practice section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has undergone multiple, successful peer reviews by unrelated CPAs. We are particularly proud that we voluntarily undertook this commitment long before the peer review program was mandated.
In order to maintain a high level of staff expertise, we regularly conduct in-house training programs and professional development seminars to provide a thorough understanding of the latest accounting and auditing principles, tax matters, business management techniques and business information system technologies.
In addition to our regular communication with our clients, we provide supplementary written materials on many pertinent issues. Insight, our monthly newsletter, provides an up-to-date focus on investment alternatives, tax planning, executive compensation techniques, employee benefit planning as well as broader principles necessary for profitable business management.
